Have you had trouble trying to get your MP3 music onto your PSP? The PSP is capable of playing not only games, but music and movies, and the MP3s from your computer. But you will need to know how to do it. It is really not too hard to download MP3 music from your PC to your PSP. Here is a free simple tutorial that should help you do this:
.) You are going to need a lot of free space. Why? The original 32 MB stick just won't cut it. If you want to download large quantities of music or watch movies, you'll need a memory stick with more free space. I would recommend 256 Megs of free space at least.
.) If your PSP did not come with the free USB cable, (in the case that you bought the "PSP Value Pack," then you'll need to buy one of these. Some PSP packs come with these for free. But these can be found practically any place that supplies the PSP.
.) Plug your PSP into your PC with the USB cable, and plug your PSP into a power outlet. On the PSP go to the "settings" menu and press the "USB Connection" button. Your PC should tell you that its found a new removable device.
.) If you want to download MP3s from your cds, you'll need a cd ripper. You can find one for free on the net.
.) Open up windows explorer and there should be a new driver listed. Explore this drive and find the folder called MUSIC.
.) In this file just drop any music in MP3 format. If the file is in MP3 format, it will download to your PSP with no problem at all. If you download iTunes music, you won't be able to use it because it is in a different format, unless you convert these files to MP3.
.) That's how easy is it is to download MP3 music onto your PSP! Simple enough?
